Koroneiki olives hand-picked and cold pressed within 24 hours. An intense golden-green oil with a robust peppery finish and fresh Mediterranean grove aroma.
Its polyphenol content of 678 mg/kg places it twice above the commercial average. Oleacin and oleocanthal, compounds recognized for anti-inflammatory properties, give the lively bitterness and persistent pepperiness that immediately set it apart from a standard extra virgin oil.
Pronounced fruitiness, well-defined bitterness, persistent pungency, zero defects. Classified as extra virgin both chemically and organoleptically. With 13.3 mg polyphenols per 20 g oil, it meets the criteria for the health claim under EU Regulation 432/2012.
